Some business owners either lose sight of their vision, or that it becomes clearer and stronger for them over time.
So where are you taking your business?
When we are so busy doing the ‘do’ in the business, we don’t often take that time to take a step back and think about where the business is going.
When we talk about the vision question, it is always a ‘where’ question: “Where is my business going?” or “Where am I taking my business?”.
If you are not taking that time to reflect and think about where you are really taking your business, chances are that your staff will also be unsure of the direction they are heading. As a result, they will end up just working on their jobs, rather than working towards an incredible shared vision.
Take a step back. Take some time out – spend a day or a complete weekend to think about where you want to take your business.
The clearer you are on where you are taking the business, the faster you will get there. The less clarity you have, the slower you will take to get to your desired end-point.
